Hi, I’m brittany.
I’m a compassionate clinical psychotherapist and a mom of three children with more than 15 years of clinical experience. I specialize in helping women navigate all aspects of motherhood — from family planning, pregnancy, infertility, loss, postpartum and the years beyond. My therapy practice is grounded in the understanding that each woman’s experience in motherhood is unique, coming with it’s own sets of strengths and challenges.
I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Rutgers University and have obtained clinical training and certification as a Perinatal Mental Health provider from Postpartum Support International. Additionally, I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inferenced-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Exposure and Response Therapy (ERP), and Mindfulness.
Prior to my work in maternal mental health, I spent over a decade working with children and adolescents with social/emotional and developmental challenges in the school setting.
Today, I work with parents navigating the complexities of raising children with mental health, learning, or behavioral challenges by offering guidance through the special education process, parent coaching, and emotional support along the way.
As a mother to three children, I understand you, because I am you.
How we’ll work together
Motherhood can bring intense joy—but it can also surface deep fear, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts that feel overwhelming and isolating. In our work together, we’ll use a compassionate, evidence-based approach to help you find relief and regain a sense of trust in yourself.
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—three powerful tools proven to support moms navigating anxiety/depression, rage, OCD, trauma, and intrusive thoughts.
With I-CBT, we’ll explore the doubts behind your fears and gently challenge the stories anxiety tells you—so you can begin to see your thoughts as thoughts, not truths. ERP will help us slowly and safely face the scary or unwanted thoughts without turning to compulsions or avoidance. And with CBT, I’ll support you in reconnecting to your values, so you can focus on what matters most—your family, your healing, your life.
You deserve support that goes deeper than “this is just mom life.” Together, we’ll create space for relief, confidence, and lasting emotional well-being.
