Like most specialized therapists, I do not participate in any insurance plans. Unlike most specialized therapists, I help you navigate how to use your out of network health insurance for reimbursement. My goal is to make the investment of support as small of a barrier as possible.

Paying out-of-pocket is a great option for people who want maximum privacy, confidentiality and flexibility.

  • Yes of course! If you have out-of-network insurance benefits, you are welcome to use them.

I am happy to submit claims on your behalf (via a company called Mentaya) or provide you with a monthly superbill, so you can coordinate with your insurance company directly.

  • Your out-of-network benefits are usually pretty straightforward to use. We have two options:

    • I partner with a company, Mentaya, who can submit claims to your insurance company on your behalf for a small fee. After you’ve met your deductible, you will receive reimbursement for each session directly from your insurance company.

    • Or if you prefer to deal with your insurance company yourself, I will provide you with a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will be responsible for paying for each session in full at time of appointment.

We can discuss these options in more detail on an intro call and see what works best for you!

  • I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots in my schedule. If you do not think you can afford my full fee, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

If I’m unable to offer you a sliding scale spot, I’d be happy to offer referrals to trusted clinicians in the area.

If you’re hoping to find an in-network provider, www.psychologytoday.com is a great resource.

  • I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey and New York. I have training and certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International. Additionally, I have extensive training in evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Inference Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention therapy (ERP) and Mindfulness.

Prior to my work in maternal mental health, I spent over a decade working with children and adolescents in the public education setting navigating social/emotional, developmental and learning challenges. I have extensive knowledge of child development and assist many families in navigating their parenting journey.

  • We’ll spend a lot of time gathering information, identifying strengths and challenges, and developing a tangible plan for success. Most importantly, we’ll get to know each other in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

  • Both! I have an office in Bergen County, NJ available for in person sessions. I also provide virtual services to anyone living in NJ or NY.

  • Yes! Whether we’re in person or virtual, babies and children are welcome. Need to feed the baby? No problem. Need to pause or turn off your camera? Just say the word. The responsibilities of being a mom should never be a barrier to support.

  • We will discuss goals for treatment during our initial session and throughout our work together. The duration for therapy is highly individualized and something we will collaborate on regularly.

  • Whether you have been in therapy before or not, you do not need a formal diagnosis to receive support.

Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, easily triggered, disconnected, or like you’re just going through the motions. Maybe the mental load feels unbearable, or you’re constantly questioning if you're doing enough. Whatever you're carrying, therapy can be a space to feel seen, understood, and supported.

You don’t have to wait for things to get “bad enough” to reach out. If something feels off, I’m here to help.

BOOK YOUR FREE discovery call.

The free discovery call is a no-pressure way for us to connect before beginning therapy. It’s a chance for you to share a bit about what’s bringing you in, ask any questions you may have, and get a feel for how I work.

It’s also an opportunity to make sure we’re a good fit—because feeling comfortable and supported in therapy is key. If it feels right, I’ll walk you through the next steps and help you schedule your first session.
